Scope of Practice Statement
Wellness with Warren, LLC is committed to ensuring the safe practice of bodywork and energetic services. We will only provide services outlined by the state board of massage and for which adequate training has been pursued. Things that are within the scope of massage therapy: manual manipulation of soft tissue, joint movements, acupressure, postural assessments, etc. Things that are not within the scope of massage therapy: spinal adjustments, dry needling, moxibustion, diagnosing, etc.
Confidentiality Commitment
Wellness with Warren, LLC operates in accordance with HIPPA laws. Your privacy is important, and personal information will never be shared without express written permission except in circumstances required by law.
Safety and Contraindications
Massage therapy, bodywork, and energy work can assist in recovery and promote relaxation, but they are not substitutes for a medical diagnosis or care. Some conditions may require modifications or be contraindicated entirely. For this reason, it is important that you be honest on the intake form to ensure the safe application of massage techniques and energetic practices. If you have a condition and are unsure if massage is contraindicated, please reach out to your medical provider.
Cancellation and Payment Policies
A debit/credit card and deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to reserve a session. Full payment will be collected at the time of service. All card information is securely stored and will only be used to charge for services booked. No charge for cancellations made with at least a 24-hour notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged at 50% of cost. No call/no show appointments will be charged at full price. If you are feeling ill, please cancel with the appropriate amount of time. If you come sick, you will be asked to reschedule and charged a late cancellation fee.
